JESSE'S THOUGHTS February 7, 2010 I would like to let everyone know that last nights Sat. Feb. 6th Empire Wrestling Radio interview with Marty Elias is one interview you don't want to miss. Marty speaks from his heart and releases his pain by being as honest as he can be to be able to move on with his life. He speaks of the reason he lost his job of being a WWE referee. Loosing the job that he loved the most probably saved his life as he was headed to destruction following the path of others who lost their lives to the demons that posses our fellow wrestlers and brothers in our industry. Don't miss this exclusive interview as you can listen to it by going to www.kcaaradio.com look under the Saturday schedule and under the EWF banner. Or go to www.placewithfriends.com |

| JESSE'S THOUGHTS January 15, 2010 I have replaced Mascara Sagrada with Payasito Coco Azul for the January 22nd event. It was tough trying to replace someone at the last minute. Especially someone that needed the work and asked to be put on a show and then cancelled out after fliers were printed and put out. After making many attempts to find a good replacement we then came up with Payasito Coco Loco. This Mexican wrestler has wrestled for many lucha promotions throughout the USA and Mexico which include AAA & CMLL Expect an additional added surprise to this event besides the matches scheduled at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Covina, Ca. 8:00 PM Start. Don't miss out on this event. The month of February EWF will return to Knights of Columbus Hall in Covina Friday Feb. 12 / 8:00 PM Start. Friday February 19th 8:00 PM Start. EWF will return to American Sports University with a special event dedicated to the memory of our friend and fellow wrestler Louie Spicolli. Real Name Louis Mucciolo Jr. February marks the anniversary of Louie's passing. (Born February 10, 1971 – Passed February 15, 1998) Louie performed in Mexico's AAA promotion under the ring name Madonna's Boyfriend, for the World Wrestling Federation he worked as Rad Radford, and in Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling in the 1990s as Louie Spicolli. He is sometimes credited as being the inventor of the Death Valley Driver finisher. Louie is missed dearly by those who knew him, and Louie was a member of the early days of the EWF as he battled the likes of Bobby Bradley, Cincinnati Red, among others. Louie was not married and didn't leave behind any children, and for that reason the Empire Wrestling Federation wishes to hold an event in the memory of Louie with part of the proceeds going to the Red Cross to be used towards the Haiti earthquake victims. It is our way for Louie to be remembered and for his name to make some impact in a very positive way. We will have a donation box at our upcoming EWF event so that we can raise as much as possible to help the victims of these tragic earthquake, with the goal to raise as much as we can to deliver the Red Cross on Feb 19th. Save that date on your calendar. Don't forget to listen to Empire Wrestling Radio every Saturday 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Lalo and Larry. www.kcaaradio.com or listen from our www.empirewrestlingfederation.com or www.placewithfriends.com Jesse Hernandez |

| EXTREME LOCO WINS AMERICAN TITLE January 8, 2010
Extreme Loco impressed EWF wrestlers, officials and fans by defeating 3 of the top contenders for the vacant American Championship. It wasn't easy for Loco, however, as he injured his ribs in his first round match with Terex, who delivered repeated splashes in an effort to humiliate him. Disaster struck Loco again as he injured his knee in a freak accident in his 2nd match of the evening against Cyanide, but held on and eventually defeated him. The odds seemed to be even for the much smaller finalist, Chris Kadillak, who put up a brilliant effort but the size and strength advantage was still too great for him to overcome. Extreme Loco defeated him with his patented X5 finisher to win the American Championship! |

| AIDEN RILEY TURNS ON RYAN TAYLOR January 8, 2010
Aiden Riley, who had recently reunited with former KOS member Ryan Taylor, has returned to KOS. Apparantly, the reconciliation was all a sham and had turned out to be part of a plan masterminded by Mondo Vega. Although Vega lost his non-title match against the EWF Heavyweight Champion, he now seems to have the upper hand in this feud that is sure to continue, as Ryan Taylor wants to get his hands on Mondo in the worst way. Mondo has aquired an EWF Heavyweight Championship Match for both Tim Lovato and Brandon Parker in a Handicap Match at Total Annihilation V, in Taylor's effort to get a rematch with the brains behind KOS, Mondo Vega. |

| EWF 2009 YEAR END AWARDS January 7, 2009 2009 Wrestler of the Year Scorpio Sky
The odds were certainly stacked against Scorpio Sky in 2009. Not only did he outlast 9 other men in a 10-Man Cashout Match to win the EWA Championship but he held his own with 7 top contenders in EWA's inaugural event, December Dawning, on December 13th in Pomona, California! Add to that turning back the constant challenges of The Human Tornado, Ali Bumaye, Extreme Loco and Eddie Mattson and you have EWF's 2009 Wrestler of the Year! Honorable Mentions: Brandon Gatson, Ryan Taylor, Liger Rivera
2009 Tag Team of the Year The A-List
There was little competition for this year's Tag Team of the Year award. "Top Shelf" Jeremy Jaeger and "The Overnight Celebrity" Roger Ruiz accomplished the impossible and upset EWF Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and fellow challengers The Cutler Brothers for the championship! In addition to winning the titles, The A-List dominated the tag team competition in the EWF for nearly all of 2009, using their innovative tag team maneuvers or when that failed, outsmarting even their smartest opponents when the situation called for it. Honorable Mention: The Young Bucks
2009 Rookie of the Year "Pretty" Peter Avalon
In what is one of the most anticipated year end awards, due mainly in part to EWF's large annual class of rookies, "Pretty" Peter Avalon is the only choice for 2009's Rookie of the Year award. Peter not only excelled in the Empire Wrestling Federation, but parlayed his success into other promotions, most notably AWS. It was there that Peter got the biggest wins of his short career, defeating TJ Perkins for the AWS Lightweight Championship. Avalon held his own against EWF Cruiserweight Champion Chris Kadillak in a Title For Title Match at Red Hot Summer '09, a match in which there was no clear cut winner but cemented Peter's status as a force to be reckoned with in the Empire Wrestling Federation. Honorable Mentions: "Mighty" Mike Mountain, Tab Jackson, Omar "Slam" Duncan
2009 Most Improved Wrestler of the Year Mondo Vega
Less than 2 years ago, Mondo Vega was the senior official in the EWF. It was then that Vega had enough of the way he was perceived by the EWF fans and, in turn, the wrestlers in the back and turned on all of them, along with Ryan Taylor & Hook Bomberry, christening themselves the "K.O.S." Bino Gambino was his first victim, upsetting him in a Loser Leaves EWF match, thanks to his newfound partners Hook and Taylor. Mondo's improvement is mostly credited to intense training sessions with former K.O.S. member, Ryan Taylor. In 2009, Mondo has made an exceptional leap forward in matches with Chris Kadillak, Liger Rivera, Terex and SnowCal Chloe and has earned himself 2009's Most Improved Wrestler of the Year honors. Honorable Mention: Extreme Loco
2009 Feud of the Year Black Metal vs Jesse Hernandez
Although Black Metal never stepped into the ring with Jesse Hernandez in an actual match, this feud was voted Feud of the Year due to the sheer hatred between the two and the lengths both men went to outlast the other. After losing the EWF Heavyweight Championship last February to Brandon Gatson, Black Metal went on a rampage that would make Quinton Jackson jealous. Metal didn't limit his ruthlessness to the ring or it's wrestlers. He unleashed his horror on Commissioner Frank Mott, Jesse Hernandez and in a moment of blind rage, even attacked Jesse's young granddaughter. Jesse responded to these attacks by bringing in "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters at the 13th Anniversary Extravaganza to even the odds of Metal's size. After tasting defeat to Masters, Jesse had had enough and challenged the huge Black Metal to a match and put it all on the line. If Black Metal won, he would receive control of the EWF and if he lost, he would be banished forever. Metal had one last trick up his sleeve as, before the match, he attacked Jesse and laid him out, hoping to win by forfeit. He didn't count on Jesse's son, Mando Hernandez, stepping up to the much larger Metal and, in what may be the upset of the year, defeated Black Metal in the center of the ring, abolishing him from the Empire Wrestling Federation! Honorable Mentions: Chris Kadillak vs Jeremy Jaeger, Brandon Gatson vs Devon Willis
EWF 2009 Match of the Year CHRIS KADILLAK VS JEREMY JAEGER (6/12/09)
This was the culmination of a long feud between "Top Shelf" Jeremy Jaeger and Chris Kadillak. At this point, these two men knew each other backwards and forwards but the crafty Jaeger managed to keep the Cruiserweight Championship using every dirty trick in the book. It was Kadillak who would have the last laugh, however, when he masqueraded as El Vigilante and defeated a surprised Jeremy Jaeger for the title, a match which is still a sore spot for Jaeger. These events all led up to the classic Ladder Match on the night of June 12th at The Covina Classic 2009. Both men put their bodies on the line, doing ruthless and crazy things to put the other on the shelf for good. It was Kadillak who would come out on top in this match and send Jaeger on his way and win 2009's Match of the Year! Honorable Mentions: Liger Rivera vs TJ Perkins (January 23, 2009 - Loser Leaves EWF), Blue Demon Jr vs Ryan Taylor - NWA World Championship (March 8, 2009), Brandon Gatson vs Ryan Taylor (October 30, 2009) |

| TIM LOVATO WINS CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE December 27, 2009
In a surprising turn of events, Tim Lovato took the Cruiserweight Championship from teammate and occasional KOS partner, Brandon Parker. Although Parker was extremely annoyed by the perceived betrayal, Mondo Vega seemed to be ok with it, seeing as the title remained with KOS. No word on a possible rematch so far. |

| SOCAL CRAZY & ESPIRITU INFERNAL WIN EWF TAG TEAM TITLES December 27, 2009
SoCal Crazy & Espiritu Infernal upset the A-List to win the EWF Tag Team Championship at United Forces 2. Jaeger & Ruiz held the titles since June, when they defeated The Young Bucks & The Cutler Brothers in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the titles. The A-List is demanding a rematch, however, no date has been set for one as of yet. Check back here for news as it comes out! |

| THOMAS MCGOVERN PUBLISHES EWF BOOK December 26, 2009 Thomas Mcgovern's book is scheduled to come out in March 2010 and an art gallery in Pomona will mount an exhibition and book launch in May. The book will be 8" x 11" and hardback. The entire book is about the School of Hard knocks and Empire Wrestling Federation. The reception is Saturday, May 8 at AC Projects on Second Street in downtown Pomona. Everyone from the school and federation are invited. The entire event is open to the public and free. Thomas Mcgovern cordially invites Jesse Hernandez EWF Staff and wrestlers. Thomas wishes that a few will come with their gear and strut around at the opening talking to fans. If we can get some to commit to coming with their gear, Thomas will make picture postcards of them to sign for fans at the opening. Thomas will make sure there is a picture in the gallery of any wrestler who will come in his/her gear. Thomas will also create a 'media wall' to make pictures of the wrestlers with fans in front of (like the Oscars!). Tom would like to put the EWF name on the media wall, along with the book title (Hard Boys + Bad Girls) and probably the event sponsor (which he thinks will be the IE Weekly). There will be a red carpet and velvet rope too. Very glitzy and fun. Please mark your calendar for Sat, May 8. This date is also Arts Walk in Pomona, Ca. a night when a bunch of art and music events happen in downtown Pomona. There will be a lot of people at the opening and there will have food and drinks. There are galleries all over the place and many, many people walking around. Thomas is working on press coverage who have a strong interest, Thomas believes the whole event and book will get a lot of attention. It should be good publicity for the EWF and School as well as his book and photographs. |

| JESSE'S THOUGHTS November 24, 2009 It saddens me to hear about the death of former wrestling promoter Mike LeBell. I received a couple of e mails one from Frank Mott and another by Jeff Walton. Jeff received a call on Tuesday Nov. 24, 2009 that Mike LeBell passed away at 3:50 PM of apparent respiratory failure in Los Angeles. As written by Jeff Walton,"Mike promoted wrestling from the early 60's through it's demise in 1982". Mike was 79 years old. Services are pending. My heart goes out to the LeBell family as their loss is also the loss of all of us who became fans being entertained by his wrestling promotion. It was Mike LeBell who encouraged me and introduced me to various promoters giving me the opportunity of booking matches for them after Mike sold his business to W.W.F. May Mike LeBell R.I.P. | JESSE'S THOUGHTS November 20, 2009 The green light has been given to Jesse Hernandez by Indy Wrestling League from Mexico City. The IWL with major goals in mind will revolutionize professional wrestling in Mexico. In the very near future you will see IWL on Facebook, Myspace and will launch their web page. I have been dealing with this project with the people from IWL for almost a year now, and after i received the 30 pages of their plans and goals this week I am truly impressed. The green light has been given to me to start mentioning this project to the wrestling community here in the United States. This promotion will not only wrestle in Mexico, but they are planing to take this throughout the world. Sometime this 2010 they are planning on running San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco. Keep your eyes open as they are planning to travel to Canada, England and Rome. By the year 2014 their goal is to own their own arena in Mexico City. EWF will have a major role in this promotion as they are planning on running 8 matches with only one of them being a 2 out of 3 falls. Everything will be one fall matches, therefore being able to run 8 matches per show. EWF wrestlers or young talent that I hire will be for 1st and 2nd matches along with ladies matches. I also have been given the green light to locate former WWE and or TNA stars to negotiate with to work this event. This being an independent promotion will use independent wrestlers from Mexico such as Mil Mascaras, and so many others that are not signed with contracts. Im very proud to be a part of this new up and coming promotion and to have a major role in this project. More on this soon. Jesse Hernandez |

| JESSE'S THOUGHTS September 3, 2009 I would like to thank West Coast wrestling Connection promoter Mr. Jeff Manning for a job well done in running a class on Promos. I would also like to thank students that came out to listen in and participate on this interesting class. Mr. Jeff Manning came all the way from Salem Oregon to help out and share with students the Do's and Don't's of cutting a promo. It is great when promoters get along and help each other out without the negativity that usually exists between promoters in our business.. It is with great pleasure that I will be returning the favor to Jeff as I will run his class on the latter part of next month as I will make my way to Salem Oregon. Check out Jeff's website at www.westcoastwrestlingconnection.com |

| SHAWN MICHAELS VISITS SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS February 14, 2009
WWE Superstar Shawn Michaels and referee Marty Elias stopped by The School Of Hard Knocks this morning, while the EWF wrestlers and students were treated to some advice from Shawn, himself. During the workout, Shawn proved that no matter how big of a star you are, you never stop learning, as he learned a new submission or two from Candice LeRae, with whom he was very impressed with. Within the short couple of hours that Shawn joined us, the entire class left feeling that they had been a part of something special. The Empire Wrestling Federation would like to thank both Marty Elias and Shawn Michaels, as well as the WWE for spending some of their free time with us. We appreciated every minute. |

THERE'S ONLY ONE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS November 3, 2007 Don’t be fooled by imitations. There is only one true SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS in Southern California and that is the Jesse Hernandez School of Hard Knocks. It’s sometimes an honor to have someone imitate you or your product, although I feel that it may confuse people into investing into something that may not be what it’s supposed to be. The name “School of Hard Knocks” was given to Bill Anderson and Jesse Hernandez by a CNN News reporter that came out to do a story on Bill and Jesse’s wrestling school, and ended the segment by saying and I quote “THIS IS TRULY A SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS.” That was such a compliment to Bill and Jesse, that immediately the name to the school was changed. When Bill departed from the EWF and the School of Hard Knocks he allowed Jesse Hernandez to continue with the name, as he set out to run his own school using his own name “Bill Anderson’s Wrestling School". Jesse Hernandez has taken the School of Hard Knocks and the Empire Wrestling Federation and ran with it keeping his students and local wrestlers active in our industry. I hope that this will at least help not confuse anyone into joining the wrong school. |
