BIOGRAPHY Dave the Bruiser, one half of the former tag-team Border Patrol, was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Covina, California. After high school he moved back to Texas where he was employed as a law enforcement officer patrolling the US/Mexican Border. He then returned to California to pursue other opportunities. As a kid, Dave dreamed of growing up and becoming a Pro Wrestler. He attended all of the WWF events when they came to town. He attended the first EWF show in Covina and met Jesse Hernandez, who gave him an opportunity to make his dream of becoming a pro wrestler come true. He wrestled on his own for two years before joining up with TJ Taz (AKA Super Natural) and forming the tag team "Border Patrol." Their time as a tag team was cut short due to a knee injury that occurred during a match with Jason King and J.C. Castro. Dave was on the injured list for nine months. During Dave's recovery, TJ Taz moved on to pursue other ventures. Now, the Bruiser is back and looking for revenge. His sights are firmly set on the EWF World Championship. |
