BIOGRAPHY

Lalo Gonzalez has been in love with professional wrestling since he was a kid. He remembers watching in awe as his favorite superstars performed in the ring every week. One of his fondest memories include being in attendance when the WWE came to the National Orange Show in San Bernardino in the 1980's. As he got older, he began to find out how to break into the business he loved. Finally, after almost 10 years of putting his dream on hold, he contacted Jesse Hernandez at the School of Hard Knocks. After speaking with Jesse, he received training to become a referee and made his debut in the EWF at Foreign Exchange in Covina, California, reffing a match between Mr. Nitro2Go and Austrailian Superstar Jay Law. Lalo went on to ref numerous matches in the EWF and other promotions involving superstars such as TJ Perkins, Bino Gambino, Brandon "Nitro" Gatson, Mikey Nicholls, Paul Tracy and many others.

One day, completly by accident, Jesse Hernandez overheard Lalo conducting interviews with some of the members of the EWF Talent Roster. After hearing Lalo's ability and talent on the mic, Jesse and Cincinnati Red decided to give him a shot announcing a couple of small shows. Lalo's announcing debut was impressive enough to warrant a shot at commentating matches. After that, Lalo was added to the commentating team and has become a full-time commentator for the EWF, garnering praise from wrestlers, colleagues, promoters and fans alike for his talent.

Lalo Gonzalez continues to hone his craft, studying DVDs of matches from all over the globe and hopes to become the voice of the WWE, TNA or the NWA. He is a father of two daughters and enjoys coaching and watching baseball, spending time with his friends and family and, of course, watching wrestling.
