Match 1: Antonio Mestre
vs Liger "Xtreme" Rivera
This match was billed as Antonio Mestre versus a returning EWF superstar. Mestre began the match stating that he didn’t care who the returning superstar was, as he was on a roll. Since re-debuting as a singles competitor in October, Mestre has been undefeated in Covina. Mestre cited his trademark catch-phrase as he told the crowd to “expect the unexpected.” Unexpected is what the crowd got as former two time Cruiserweight Champion Liger Rivera made his return to the wrestling ring. Rivera showed very little signs of ring rust and took Mestre to the limit. Several near falls and Rivera nearly pinned Mestre. As Rivera was taking command of the match, Mestre reversed a swinging DDT and hit Rivera with his signature finisher, the “Side of Respect.” The crowd gave Liger a warm reception and applauded him after the match, clearly showing that was not forgotten and is still a crowd favorite. However, will anyone stop Mestre and his tear through the EWF ranks? Winner: Antonio Mestre |

2: "Sadistic" Ron Kilbourn vs Diablo Rojo (Red Devil)
Who does Ron Kilbourn pay to get cruiserweight match-ups at each event? Diablo Rojo, a relative newcomer to the independent circuit, made his debut in an EWF ring. Diablo did his best to establish a speed attack, but once again Kilbourn’s massive size and power were too much for the rookie cruiserweight to handle. After Kilbourn caught Rojo in mid-air, Rojo was dealt with, as Kilbourn hit this “Dealing of the With” finishing maneuver. Winner: Ron Kilbourn |
Match
3: Dan "The Man" Kobrick vs Human Tornado
In only his third match for the EWF crowd, Human Tornado has quickly established himself as a fan favorite. The minute his music hits, fans are clapping and on their feet, awaiting the arrival of the charismatic superstar. Tornado had his hands full with an irate Dan Kobrick, still bitter from losing his Tag Team title match at last month’s show. The two matched up well, trading blows early and often. Dan Kobrick even locked in his newest move, the “D. Ko throw” and appeared to have Tornado beat. Tornado kicked out and hit Kobrick with his “Tai-Bro” and quickly covered Kobrick for the pin. Winner: Human Tornado |
Match
4: Amazing Kong vs "Canadian Goddess" Candice LeRae
The Canadian Goddess has been the dominant diva in the EWF for quite some time now. Whether it be by clean or underhanded victory, many a diva had fallen at the feet of the Canadian Goddess. Tonight would be a true test, as she faced the vicious Amazing Kong from Japan. Kong is an alumnus of the School of Hard Knocks, so tonight was a homecoming for the All Japan and Zero One Superstar. She is a three time 3AW and 3WA Woman’s champion, and standing at 5’7” and weighing in at 150 lbs, she towered over the petite frame of the 5’1” 112 lbs. LeRae. The feisty Canadian first tried a test of strength with Kong, a mistake on LeRae's part. Kong easily overpowered her and sent her tumbling to the mat. Once LeRae took to her speed and quickness attacks, she gained a slight advantage, working the knee of Kong to destroy her vertical base. Seemingly from nowhere, “Handsome” Johnny Starr and his attorney, J. Terex III appeared at ringside. At first they appeared to be mere observers, then part cheerleaders for Candice LeRae. However, their motives became clear when Terex tripped up Kong after the Goddess sent her into the ropes with an Irish Whip. It would all be for naught, as Kong quickly regained control and crushed Candice with an Avalanche Splash into the corner. Kong ascended to the top rope and executed the “Ghetto Bird” splash, and easily picked up the victory. After the match, a concerned Starr escorted an injured LeRae to the backstage area. Was this a one time only deal or has Starr purchased yet another EWF superstar’s contract? Winner: Amazing Kong |
Match
5: "Mad" Max Martin vs Kid Karnage
This contest started as any other. Both these young competitors are hungry and have yet to taste EWF gold. Both are well liked by the crowd, and both have tremendous respect for each other as evidenced by the cordial handshake before the first collar and elbow tie-up. Max’s ground and pound assault seemed to stop the high-flying Karnage’s aerial attack in the early stages of the match. Karnage quickly regained control and went to work on Martin. Karnage had Martin lined up for his patented Acid Reign frogsplash when once again, “Handsome” Johnny Starr and J. Terex III emerged from the backstage area. This distracted Karnage and Max took advantage of the situation taking Karnage off the top rope and sending him crashing to the concrete floor. Starr rushed over to Karnage and helped him up… was he actually concerned for the welfare of the young superstar? After a short exchange, Karnage sent Martin through the middle rope, and this time he was the one on the outside. Terex rushed over to help Martin and to check his status. Had Starr and Terex taken a benevolent turn for the better? Terex helped Martin to the ring, and Starr helped Karnage to the ring as the match continued. Starr quickly had a sidebar with his attorney as they whispered unknown plans into each others ear. Starr’s sinister plan would soon come to fruition. Terex assaulted building security, threatening to sue for libel, defamation of character and sexual harassment. This skirmish was enough to distract referee Mando Vega, allowing Starr to enter the ring. He sent Karnage to the mat, continued to crush him in the chest and face with a knee drop, using his metal knee brace as a weapon. Martin crawled over Karnage for the pinfall and the victory. Afterward, Starr raised Martin’s hand in victory, appearing to be aligned with the young superstar from the beginning. Will Starr’s stable continue to grow? First, the EWF American Champion Vizzion is under contract by Starr. Have we seen possibly two more additions to Starr’s growing collection of wrestler contracts? Stay tuned or visit an EWF live event to find out! Winner: "Mad" Max Martin |

Match 6: EWF Cruiserweight Championship Match
Joey Harder (c) vs Alex Pinchek What a match! This saw the two superstars battle it out all over the Covina Arena. Both men started with excellent chain wrestling and appeared to have each other scouted. When both men spilled to the outside, Pincheck began a relentless attack on the back of the neck of the Cruiserweight Champion. The action even spilled up to the commentators stage where Pincheck used the commentary microphone and exclaimed, “Tonight Alex Pincheck wrestles and does commentary at the same time!” Pincheck cinched in a brutal suplex and hurled Harder’s foot through the wall. Mando Vega attempted to re-establish order to the match and sent the 2 men back to the ring, as Pincheck appeared to be ready to capture the title. However, after a botched Northern Lights suplex, the champ executed his Harder Driver, quickly covering Pincheck and retaining his Cruiserweight title. Winner and still EWF Cruiserweight Champion: Joey Harder |

Match 7: Mask vs Mask Match
Kayam vs Green Warrior The culmination of a bitter feud ended tonight, but not before a bit of controversy. At last month’s Holiday Fear, Guerrero Negro tried to de-mask Kayam several times, an insult in the world of Lucha Libre. That resulted in this match taking place. With Enigma de Oro of Los Chivos in Kayam’s corner, they awaited the arrival of Guerrero Negro. Out comes Dan “The Man” Kobrick. Dan explained that Guerrero Negro would not be available for tonight’s match, because he suffered a broken ankle at a show in Mexico. Dan Kobrick admitted to wanting Negro not to show, because Dan felt that Negro cost them their tag-team gold, and Kobrick didn’t want losers on his team. He traveled all the way to Mexico again this time to return with… Guerrero Verde! (The Green Warrior) A classic lucha style match, fast paced, and very athletic. Verde would soon learn that Kayam had a few tricks up his sleeve, as he countered a school boy roll up and pinned his opponent. In true Lucha style, Verde humbly presented his mask to Kayam, who accepted and de-masked the superstar. Dan Kobrick hated this decision and decided to attack his new partner. The Chivos and Verde stomped Kobrick down and chased him away, as fans cheered on. Winner: Kayam |

8: EWF World Championship
"Choose Your Own Adventure" Match Bino Gambino (c) v. Jason King After Jason lost the EWF World title in September, he has awaited his rematch. He has defeated every superstar placed before him, and accused the current champion of dodging him. At November’s show, Jason interrupted Bino’s match and demanded his rematch. That match was set for tonight. To lull Gambino into a false sense of security; Jason even let Gambino call the stipulation. Gambino proposed an innovative best 2 of 3 falls “Choose Your Own Adventure” match. The match would begin with a standard rules wrestling match. The winner of that match would call the stipulation for the second match, and if a third match was needed, the winner of the second match would call the stipulation of the third match. The first fall saw a great technical match up, a lot of chain wrestling and innovative holds to wear down the opponent. Bino cinched Jason in to a victory roll-up and caught him off guard, securing the first fall for himself. Jason became irate, and while Bino was trying to recover to pick himself up, catch a breath, and make his decision for the next match, Jason King hit his Wizard of Awe finisher out of nowhere! Gambino was out of it. Jason then walked to ringside and taunted Gambino, “Hey Bino, since you can’t get up right now, I’m calling a No-Holds Barred match!” Jason grabbed a chair from ringside and proceeded into the ring to smash Bino. Bino quickly escaped, countered, and left King lying on the floor. Gambino recovered some street signs under the ring, and soon drove the huge “BUMP” sign right into the skull of king. King would counter and mount an attack, this time pummeling Bino with a “STOP” sign over his head. Bino tried to roll up Jason for the pin, but Jason reversed and held the bottom rope, so Bino could not escape. Mando Vega counted to two, and saw King’s hand on the rope. He stopped counting at two and made King aware, to which King sourly reminded him that it was no-holds barred and anything goes. Vega quickly slapped his hand down for the third time and Jason would claim victory. Jason was now rightfully allowed to call the final match as he sees fit. King proposed they stick with the “no-holds barred” theme but added an “I Quit” stipulation. This decision would prove costly. Gambino began his onslaught of kicks to Jason’s knee, to which he never fully recovered. Using chairs and ring posts, Gambino relentlessly attacked Jason’s ankles, knees and legs. The two beaten men soon made their way to the stage by the commentary table. Gambino “borrowed” the ring announcer’s table and set it up at the bottom of the stage. King lay motionless on the table as Gambino took a deep breath, and dived right off of another table set up on top of the stage through Jason King, through the table, breaking it into pieces. King began bleeding profusely from the back of his head. As if that was not enough, Gambino carried Jason King back into the Ring. Gambino took a folding steel chair, slid King’s ankle through, and excuted a beautiful figure-four leglock, with the chair! King was writhing in agony and had no choice but to say, “I quit!” Winner and still EWF World Champion: Bino Gambino |
